WHAA!
The Site Owner of Keller peak Forest "FROSTY" Oden reportedly sold the site to the KE6TZG Keller Peak 146.985MHz Keller Peak Rptr. Assn. They intern have kicked me out of the shack. They said that they are kicking everyone out of the shack except for themselves so that they can fill the rest of the shack with batteries for their system. I am now looking for a new home at Keller or Onyx or maybe Table mountain. please contact me if you can help. Look for a new "Swapnet" link sometime soon on this site as I have a shitload of cheap radio crap that I got turn into big cash to pay for all of this. We have now also built a "Members Only" page to facilitate the dissemination of alternate input frequencies to our invited private users. A username and password are required for this feature. Please contact Me the webmaster kd6gdb@k6hog,org via email for more information. The following pictures show the first 6 ports of the 8 total ports that will be used in this project. Please notice the main 440 port equipped with a three way mixing receiver, It is hoped that with this configuration all users can participate in full duplex conversation. Other features include The LinkComm RLC-3 an 8 X 8 cross point switching matrix Repeater Controller, The LinkComm DVR-1 Digital Voice mail system that can be accessed from any port in the matrix, Echo link is incorporated into the system so as to be accessed from any port in the matrix, HF capabilities using a Remotely controllable Kenwood TS-450S again accessible from any port in the matrix. All audio passing though the controller matrix will be archived on the on-site PC and available for FTP downloading or local playback using any port in the matrix, Two frequency agile remote base ports will also be incorporated into this system, one using the LinkComm RLC-ICM IC-900/901 remote base interface modules supporting 2M 440 10M and 6M and the other port running the Doug Hall RBI-1 supporting a 2M 220 440 and 1.2 module. Each remote base "band stack" can be independently accessed from any port in the matrix as well as from the opposing remote base port offering a completely frequency agile cross band repeater solution. We have also included an ICOM PCR-1000 wide band receiver scanner in the system to allow for remote input hacking. A complete overview is not yet available as I have yet to get all of my scrap paper and napkin designs converted into Visio format. Here is what I got so far: |
